From my first viewing of Kent Ct sculptor Joy Brown’s beyond life size bronze “gentle giants,” I knew I wanted to move with them.

On a freezing but sunny December day in 2017, the opportunity presented itself at Joy Brown on Broadway, a mile long exhibit of nine sculptures in city parks sponsored by the NYC Department of Parks with support from Purple Roof Atelier of Shanghai and Morrison Gallery, Kent, Ct.

Intrepid Continuum movers Melanie Gambino and Elisabeth Osgood-Campbell joined me, along with with videographer Evan Fairbanks, photographer Phyllis McCabe and Joy Brown, herself. We filmed with the contemplative Kneeler at 116th and Broadway, which resulted in the Living Prayer video (2 minutes), music by Morena Boschetto, video editing by Reid Hannan.
